I came across this blog searching the web for random things and was pleasantly engrossed in her blog. Besides the lovley pictures she takes, her stories kept me interested in wanting to read more. The blog also has recipes that I definitely want to try out. The first one I want to try is the scone in the picture above. You can check out the blog here.
I found these Japanese craft books at a Japanese store that has a section that sells books new and used. The first picture is children's furniture made out of recycled milk cartons which they stuffed first with newspaper, then put together and held together with glue and tape. It seems that no sewing was done. Glue was used to attach the fabric to the cartons. A great way of getting rid of some junk.
I am a full time mommy with 2 girls, a toddler and my new baby. I would love to have my own studio one day so that I can have a place to work and show off my stuff.
wishful thinking...
